“Guerilla” Critique of MassageEnvy.com

Check out this “Guerilla” critique I did of http://www.MassageEnvy.com.

What makes it “Guerilla” is that the fine folks at Massage Envy didn’t actually ask me to critique their site.

It’s just that I’m such a big fan of their service that I think their website needs a proper savaging.

The video is only about 10 minutes long, butI cover a lot of ground in it and reveal a lot of my own techniques for getting into the head of your market, avoiding “false” benefits and pushing your prospects towards a powerful call to action.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

How To Live a Jet Set Life (Launch Critique for Robert Murgatroyd)

Special treat for all you copy critique fans today. Normally I do these videos “on my own” in my swank office with no feedback from the client in question. But this time I managed to get Robert Murgatroyd live on Skype and “rake him over the coals” for all of you to hear.

It’s a great chance for you to see what it’s like to work with a pro-level copywriter and “launch dude” one on one . . . and will give you some powerful tricks and tips to go through next time you’re planning your own sales page.

(Pay special attention to the types of questions I ask Robert and how much work I do trying to get to the heart of what his prospects want.)

Copy Critique: The Dietary Cure for Acne

Check out this whoppingly-deep video where I sift my way through my friend Wiley’s Dietary Cure for Acne site. Wiley’s got a great product and great proof . . . but his conversions on this site are in the toilet. Fire up the speakers and sit back as I explain why.

Secrets Of A 9% Conversion Rate

Check out this video and discover how (and why) the CPA Ninja sales letter/video combo pulled a 9% conversion rate on a $1k product.

If you want to follow along (or find out more about the product . . . it’s good) go to . . .

P.S. (Got a few comments from folks saying the audio is a bit low on the vid. Not sure what happened with my mic there, but I just uploaded a new version with *slightly* better audio. Afraid you may have to put on your headphones to really hear it properly. Sorry.)

Copy Critique – This Karaoke Copy Doesn’t “Sing” (oh! Bad pun!)

Hey folks,

In today’s video copy critique, I take a look at http://www.karaokestardvd.com.

It’s a long critique (about half an hour . . . I got rolling and couldn’t stop) packed with a lot of “deep digging” into how you can improve the readability and flow of your copy, why “mean” copy doesn’t work and how to get more “intimate” with your audience.

I also spend a good amount of time revealing my super-sneaky technique for installing “Criteria” into the minds of your market in your copy (basically telling them what they should DEMAND in a product . . . and showing them that your product meets that demand.)

Check it out and leave a comment =-)

Why doesn’t this site convert? Critique of Spacetransform.com

This site isn’t a “sales letter” but when Gwen asked me to critique it I felt like I had to. Why? Because Gwen is GREAT at her job (Feng Shui) and gets raves from all of her clients . . . but her site doesn’t convert for @#$#.

Watch the latest Moneyfingersinc.com Copy critique as I (gently) rip Spacetransform to shreds. (The best part of the video is near the end when I start riffing on what kind of copy Gwen SHOULD have on her site.)

Slapping Around Google Slapper =-)

Jay Deiboldt was one of the first 5 to ask for one of my complimentary copy critiques. This video is a bit long but goes into a lot of detail on why Google Slapper isn’t quite converting at the levels Jay wants it to (even though the letter looks great and was written by a pro.)

In this video you’ll learn . . .

* Why your lead MUST flow naturally from your headline to keep drag your customers kicking and screaming towards the sale.

* What “Speedbump” words are . . . and how to eliminate them to make reading your copy as easy as downing a can of soda pop.

* Why doing the “pre-work” of writing your sales letter is so important. . .

And a whole bunch more. Hope you enjoy the vid (it’s a little long at 22 minutes, but there’s a lot of good content.)

More to come soon.
